I mostly shoot sports and wildlife. I shoot long lenses with or without converters. I enjoy the reach, try to freeze the subject at a distance with the most clarity. I enjoy the challenge

I am rarely seen without a camera by my side. About seven years ago I started with what is now considered ancient, a Sony Mavica digital, capturing the beauty of roses. I was hooked and soon moved on to shooting kids' sporting events with a Canon Elan 7. A native Californian, My wife and I and our four children relocated to Minnesota and I have found an entirely new realm of outdoor beauty to capture through my lens. Eagerly seeking the challenge of capturing the motion of the fast-moving object, My photos are a combination of classic and contemporary images and include my favorite subject Sports. I have upgraded to advanced digital technology by capturing the moments with the Canon EOS 1D Mark III. All of my photographs are captured in a natural environment, no staging or props are used. I appreciate the opportunity to share my images and enjoy discussion with other photographers. Please feel free to ask questions or critique any photos as this provides improvement.
