I started taking pictures when I was 9 yrs. old. In 1980, when my first child was born I received an Olympus OM-10 35mm film camera as a gift. In the 90's I took a Black and White photography class at a local community college. In 2003 I got my first digital camera, the Konica Minolta DiMage Z10. I really started to get into photography when I went digital. Soon after this I graduated to a DSLR, the Olympus Evolt E500.
I enjoy taking photos of anything that catches my eye. I have many photographs from Michigan since I have lived here my whole life. I love taking pictures of children. I have 5 grandchildren so I have my models.
I like landscapes. I love to explore new areas where I have never been. I can just jump in my car for the day and drive around shooting photos. I've taken lots of pictures out of my car window!
It thrills me when I get a shot that I love. I feel like I am learning everyday. This keeps me feeling young!
