When I was a child, I used to take photos of everything with my poloirod camera. Then I got interested in the oil painting world and have taught art privately for the last 15 years.

I started rekindling my interest in photography in 2001. In the spring of 2003 I bought a new camera. I own a Canon Elan 7, Canon 100-400 IS L lens, 300mm macro lens, 28mm-135mm IS lens, 50mm lens, Kenko extention tubes, 2x teleconverter, Manfrotto tripod and head, and a few filters. In May 2005, came the purchase of my first Digital SLR camera, the Canon 20D, and a whole new world opened up for me to learn and be creative. I have since upgraded my camera again, and now carry 2 DSLR's with me.

I have taken a few courses here at, the first 2 being "Understanding Exposure" and "Art of Composition" with Bryan F. Peterson, along with courses with Tony Sweet, Jim Zuckerman, and others. I was voted top photographer in Bryan's "Art of Composition" class, along with Tony Sweets "Fine Art Flower Photography" and Jim Zuckerman's "Mastering Light" and "Wildlife Photography" courses, which I was very flattered and honored to receive.

I am constantly looking for "opportunities" no matter where I go now.

Since August of 2005, I was accepted into a stock agency and sell my work through them. I also photograph weddings and portraits professionally for the last 3 years and LOVE every minute of it!!

I welcome anyone's feedback on my photos. Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery :)
