Jacqueline W. Mills, aka "Jacque" received her first camera, a Brownie 120, in 1958, a birthday gift from her older brother. Earl. That was the booster for her then emerging interest in photography. During her high school years, she received personalised help with composition and design from Nan Chitty Dickenson of Akron, Ohio, her art teacher. She has also studied with the New York Institute of Photography, and participated in numerous photo workshops, including the Port Townsend Photo Immersion Workshop, the Washington Photo Safari, and, the Popular Photography Mentor Series, In October 2002 she had the opportunity to work with the legendary Bryan F. Peterson, in France. Her present and future goals include fulltime pursuit of dynamic photographic images wherever they may be found.
