As a kid I hated to I would study the pictures instead...pretending to read...maybe that is where it all started. Plus I can't draw, paint or play photography has given me the opportunity to express my creative side.

When I was "knee high to a grasshopper" my dad gave me his old Kodak Ektralite 10 Camera. Then I upgraded to a 35mm Pentex when the Navy brought me to broke on day one of my 21 day cross country trip back east. So I used my Panasonic Camcorder for still was better then nothing. After that I bought a Canon A400 for my Italy trip. I upgraded to a Canon Rebel XT and have become very serious about photography. Now I have purchased a two 30Ds with some new lenses.

Since separating from the Navy I have been shooting full time. Weddings and Fine Art are my main concentration..but have done some freelance work for the local papers and some commercial jobs for local businesses.

One of my goals is to look at any picture and figure out what region of the world it was taken in! I have studied meteorology, geology, and oceanography and have a love for nature and travel...which has helped me better understand the earth's geography.

Camera: 30D (2) and Rebel XT
