LONG AGO AND FAR AWAY

Description

LONG AGO AND FAR AWAY ~Digital Darkroom~ The image touched me whilst editing thinking of past animals in our life. Cindy my Labrador has haunting eyes but by herself the shot I took this afternoon wasn't very interesting as I was concentrating on Auto Bracketing - she just 'happened' to be there. Aha I thought, Graham took a shot of a beautiful property several months ago, I could use it as a background. Then I composited the images, converted to Black an White in in Lightroom , used a layer mask to bring parts of the background back. Added a pinch of Niks Color Effects Midnight Sepia for a more wistful look! Will be away for the weekend and may not get an internet connection to comment much. Have a great Day. ~Pat and Graham

We really have to meet Cindy, Pat! Those eyes are pleading to say G'day, John!
This is a wonderful creation, and your darkroom work is splendidn! Of course it helps to have two exceptional images to work with! Well done Pat & Graham! #8522762

Thankyou John, I am bringing Cindy with us on Wednesday to meet you. She can come as she will be 'working'.

I do love this creation and yes, it did help to have two good images to begin with as all it needed was to put one on top of each other.

I felt pretty chuffed. Margaret will love her I am sure! Such lovely eyes, reminds me of Teena in that respects, the same eyes which is why I got a bit misty eyed myself.

Best wishes my friend.

Of too Broke in a minute for the weekend!
