Love it. I would love to know more about your editing techniques to get this kind of effect. #8512148

Hi Vicki !! The basics were done in Photoshop, the sizing, levels, cropping, etc. I did the painting effect in Painter using mostly the "grainy water" brush. First, after cloning it, I added a layer of white and using the soft clone tool, painted back the figure and flowers is a loose way. The edges were blended in with the grainy water brush at a rather large size and medium opacity..then using a lower opacity, I went over most of the rest. I finished by touching up the finer features with a chalk brush and a hair brush was used on the hair using a slightly lighter color and blended....then back to PS for final touches . Hope this helps. !! :-) #8512683

Such a precious image, Judi... very artistic. Thank you for telling us how you accomplished the wonderful effects. Never having worked in Painter, most of your instructions are Greek to me... guess it is time to try something new! Your piece of art is SO worth all the work it sounds like you put into it! #8513372

Thank you Judy !! I know you can do it with a little instruction. Jim Zuckerman has an excellent course in Painter.. I also ordered several DVD's from some of the digital portrait artist....Helen Yancy, Faye Sirkis, and Marilyn Sholin. #8514311
