Description

This shot was taken handheld without flash during a religous procession during Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Alicante Spain.

The subject was frontlit by a large stage light and backlit by the ambient street lighting.

I reduce the exposure and converted to B&W in Lightroom.

1/25 sec at f/5.6 ISO 500

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: -1.00, ExposureTime: 1/25 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 500, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 90.00 mm, Model: NIKON D300S

Thanks very much.

I've posted the original for comparison. It was obvious that the original would need some post processing when I took the shot, I liked the composition and hoped that I'd be able to enhance it later. I surprised myself that with only a few tweaks the image could turn out so well. #8507370
