Description

Two weeks ago I went to the Denver Zoo and it was probably one of my best visits I have ever had. I think after the long winter the animals were enjoying the warm sun and the smell of spring in the air. Usually it is hard to take a good picture of the cheetahs as they are either in the shade or pace the fence line, so I was delighted to get some good shots of them in the sunlight. An added joy for me was after the upload I found the shadow of the tree branches to be in the same angle of the cheetah’s pose.

Excellent, Melissa!! Very beautiful image!! I was a little disappointed in my visit to Wildlife Safari, noted for their Cheetah breeding program because the Cheetahs are all behind chain link fences now. Back in the 80s they were allowed to roam free. The only animals that were caged back then was the tigers and wolves. Ill post a picture of their ambassador Cheetah "Taini" tomorrow, behind a fence of course. #8502921
