Fantastic night shot Christopher! I love the composition especially with the curve of the river. I am wondering though about the colours of the reflections and can't make out why some of the colours don't match the colours of the buildings ~ especially the bright green reflections! #1603468Jean Crombie July 17, 2005 0
Kate, I've studied the reflections too and the amazing thing is that the water picks up and magnifies even the smallest light on top of the buildings or along the shore it seems. It really does make it quite spectacular and lovely doesn't it? Jean #1603736Christopher Jamison July 18, 2005 0
thank you guy very much for all the kind words. I see what you mean about the enhanced looking color in the water...i can assure you, though, that it is just as Jean has said. The water apparenlty magnifies the color of the lighted signs on the tops of the buildings. Those signs are indeed very green...but look even more so in the water reflection. Interesting effect. thanks again! #1604244Gina Lowthert July 23, 2005 0
