Description

Taken at a small mall carnival in Clearwater. This is two images merged together, one of the ferris wheel moving and one of it standing still. Also, I used an HDR effect.

Thank you so much Tiia, Jeff, Bobby and Patrick!
Patrick, I cannot claim the trick on my own; someone from the photography group that I am a member of was the one who told several of us to take a moving photo and a still image and merge them together to get a better image of the ferris wheel. So I tried it and it worked quite well. In the moving shot, you could not see the seats, but then I added the still one and there they were. I was concerned about how they would match up being one was moving and one wasn't, but I combined them using Photomatix free (basic) edition. I suppose there is enough of the ferris wheel that is stationary to give them something to merge with. #8478930
