Holy Smokes, Anita...that's hard to believe! Amazing the power of a river giving up it's winter's ice...I've truly never seen anything quite like this before...those huge blocks of ice in the front are incredible...can just imagine the sound of all this moving downriver...a really cool (no pun intended) photo of nature at work! #8470077Anita Tykwinski March 21, 2010
Thanks Bobby and Valarie. Those big ice chunks are actually pushed up onto the parking lot of a boat landing...it hung around for about a day then went over the dam but the ice chunks are still on shore all along the river. #8470444Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
