Description

Captured on HWY S somewhere between Jim Falls and Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. Bogen Tripod. 28mm lens. While driving, the rainbow reached higher underneath the swirling white and gray clouds. By the time I set up, it was barely noticable. Lucky me, the sun came out behind me, helping me with lighting.

The lighting gods were with you this day Tony :-) Terrific composition and the red bit of the barn really draws the viewers eye into the photo and then we immediately see the rainbow! Well done! #266329

as far as getting a red barn and rainbow in frame together, luck was not a factor.

I drove 40 miles to find the farm. We had thunderstorm after thunderstorm, and I shot 5 different farms on the same strip of hwy with the same cell. The Rainbow was always there.
