Description

Edith bought out her Eaglets today for the first time!. Cute little ones that resemble ET with a Mohawk. They were chattering back and forth as Momma would tell them when to duck down as other birds went by the nest. They do Listen to her!. She was very Proud and Wary at the same time but I don`t think anything would even Dare to mess with her baby`s!.Captured at F/8,1/1600,Iso500,400mm and I need more!.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 625/1000000 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 400.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90

Absolutely fantastic Hal!! I hope we see this one again it's a gem worthy of gold!! I've finally been able to figure out several nesting locations. Even though my sisters husband is a state conservation agent and knows several locations, they've been very tight lipped. In the past few years there have been several shot, can you even believe that. So truthfully I'm glad they are being secretive about the nesting sights, but am also glad I've got a chance to do some exploring. I've witnessed a major turnaround in the population and feel so fortunate to be able to go out shooting eagle pictures with my son. They say a bad day of fishing is better then work, I think that applies to eagle watching and photographing as well. Many day's I can't get any real decent shots but I can watch them soar through the air and flip around and to me that's a wonderful day. This is a fav for me as well, and one I really hope the judges take notice of Hal!!! #8360024
