Lonely in Red

Uploaded: June 18, 2005

Description

While working on a photo of a common weed, (Dandylion), I became bored. As usual, I started to doodle with the smear effect filter, (liquid paint), and this is the result. I used Corel Photo Paint 10.

I love what you have done here, Teresa.
I also like to experiment with creating new images from old. Here is a sample but I used several different filter effects and could not replicate this image if I tried. But I do multiple backups of my files.
Best,

Fantastic photo, Frank! I love this. For me, I can only do a photo of a rose so many times, (and I have done many), before I start having fun with it. I understand exactly what you mean about saving different backup versions too. (After learning the hard way of course.) For "Lonely in Red", I went through the entire alphabet, naming all the different versions, the ones "in progress". I always like something about the features in each. (Enough to save it, anyway.) At the same time, I'll see something I need to fix before it's done. lol The never-ending photo! I will be adding a few of these versions to my gallery to illustrate my process. Right-brained thinking at it's best! : )

Thanks again and Best Wishes,
