Description

Although winter can be pretty stark and severe at times, it also has a strange beauty to it. I hope you can see some of that beauty in this image. I intentionally underexposed by 0.7EV in order to obtain the dark sky. I finished the image by selectively dodging the snow, to bring out some of the highlights. I hope you enjoy!

Canon 17-40L; ISO 100; 1/400; f/14; 17mm; slightly cropped and resized.
