Rusty is a shelter dog at the Delaware Valley (PA) SPCA, and is currently being fostered by my friend, Cathy, who loves "his bones." On the day we did this photo shoot, she changed his bandana several times to better blend with his surroundings.

It was November 8, with the harshest midday Autumn sunshine I've ever had to deal with. Rusty is a deep copper bronze, beautiful, sweet Pit Bull. The "hot spots" have been a challenge and I've been working on them for three months now (not constantly...I sleep sometimes).
