In the Beginning...

Description

This was my first post to BP, four years ago on June 12th. I can't thank BP enough for instilling in me the drive to keep getting better at photography and to ENJOY photography. And it's a site I log onto daily..it's a part of my life!

Most importantly, it's the people I've met along the way...the mini-pics are much more than impersonal thumbnails...I've met many BPers, both in person and only via on-line. I have life-long friends, and none of this would have happened if not for BetterPhoto. I will be out of town the next few days but wanted to post this photo now and just say thanks to all of you for being a part of my life! April 2005, f9, 1/200, Digital Rebel with the Kit lens

So you were great when you started, huh. You should see some of MY first pictures..UGH!! This is just stunning Ken and so is your dedication. BP is a daily part of many of our lives. When we can't get to the internet to check in, it draws us all a little 'more' crazier. Not only do we have wonderful friends we want to check in with, we want to see their photos as they inspire us to try new things and work harder on our skills. hmmm, so you say you created what???...:0 Hey folks, all kidding aside I rib ken a lot, (I got the personal OK to do so) and I have enjoyed getting to know you Ken even if we haven't got to meet YET. You have been a good sport as I have given you a hard time (In fun always!!)
I have indeed been challenged by your example and your heart for this great hobby, lifestyle, call it what you may and I can say also BP has been neat, even if I can't currently upload any photos!! (working on it).
So keep shooting, keep stretching and stop posting postcards...(I tried to be serious, couldn't stand it anymore!!)
