Water Lily Study, bw
Uploaded: December 27, 2009
Here's one more from the Powell Gardens outside Kansas City, taken on a rainy day in August 2008. I was just beginning to shoot in RAW at this time and didn't really know how to adjust for problems when I converted -- which is probably why I passed right by several shots I now consider quite nice. I put the color version in the discussion.

I thoroughly enjoy this in black and white, and I like it better this way than in color. The black and white emphasizes the excellent lines so well. #8249083Dianna Murphy December 27, 2009

I love both versions Nikki but the b&w stands out for me ~ I love how the lines and shadows are accentuated .. also find it more restful on the eyes that the bright pinks ~ if that makes sense! Both beautiful though! #8270883Jean E. Hildebrant January 06, 2010
