Chillin' Maples

Uploaded: December 26, 2009

Description

1/15 s at f/3.5 ISO 100 50mm macro lens

These maples were actually chillin' in my freezer for several months before I got around to taking a picture of them. The colors in October were so beautiful around here, but I did not have much time for pictures...thought I would try to save them for another day!

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/15 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: DSLR-A700

What a great idea! The tones are lovely, Laurie, and the first thing I noticed about this beautiful image. I thought you had altered the hues digitally -- and you may have done so -- but after reading your description, I'm thinking not. Sure has your signature detail and lighting. #1219751

Thanks SiS, Jeana, Stef, and Kelly...the freezer really helped me out when I could not get out and shoot...makes me wonder what else might be worth preserving. Thanks for your comments girls! #8257127
