This shot is so awesome, Gordon. The blooms are just beautiful and with the rain or dew on them they are fantastic. I am building up a small patch of violets underneat a redbud tree I have. Every where I see one of the little wild violets (in my yard, not the wild) I transplant it to that area. They are just so pretty and dainty. #1456715

Thanks, Tammy and Marsha! And Marsha, that's a great idea. Since I stopped mowing most of my lawn, I've found a Lot of hardy perennials thriving out there!
