As soon as I got to the Park, I was in a boat, in Chobe river, watching this elephants crossing, it was a magical moment.

Ah yes, truly magical! It is amazing how far they walk everyday too isn't it. When we were there they were having to walk right back to the other side of the tarred road to eat and then back again the next day to the river. Our guide said that many of the calves could not make it so far. I have a picture of a herd crossing the road in the dark but not a good one. #260888Luis Louro June 10, 2005
