Honey bee gathering pollen to bring back to her hive; Indian Blanket, one of the many flowers currently blooming in the desert areas of the Bosque del Apache NWR, New Mexico; ISO 200 F5.6 1/600s, Canon 70-300 IS DO @ 300mm; Feedback greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Susan!! Keep trying! I've got a ton of shots with blurry bees taking off for every shot where you can actually see the bee... It helped a little that I was using a 300mm zoom rather than a macro. Scares the bees less, but it's harder to get a good DOF like you could with a true macro lens.
