My son Gage is carried from the field by his teammates after a season ending knee injury "the terrible triad" of football; MCL, ACL and lateral meniscus tears. He served as defensive captain and was the leading tackler in our conference. This was the ninth game of his junior year. His team secured a playoff bid with their victory this night.

The original photo was taken by Karen Moore as shooting photos was the furthest thing from my mind at that time. The original has been cropped and enhanced by me.
