Tuckered Tiger

Uploaded: May 30, 2005

Description

After a rough game of tag with his brother (the same brother who bit off the cub's whiskers), this 5 month old Sumatran tiger was plumb tuckered out---shot at 1/800 second and f4.0 at 2:30 PM on a sunny February day at the Woodland Park Zoo.

Elizabeth:

You put TWO entries in this contest that compete for being my favorites! I think think this one totally takes the cake, though. This guy looks like he's had one too many Tacos. I like him because he's not only sharp and beautifully composed, but but the pose is so unbeleivably unusual for a candid of a Tiger. It has a lot of character and personality. (This was taken in a zoo, wasn't it?--Ah yes, Woodland Park Zoo.) #256034
