Night Stalker

Uploaded: May 30, 2005

Description

The Great Horned Owl is one of the predators of the night. Sadly this wonderful animal has lost both the sight in his right eye as well as his hearing on that side. While still able to fly he cannot hunt effectively and is cared for by the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program in Ft. Collins Colorado.

OUTSTANDING image Larry. Great detail and emotional impact. I'm sorry to hear about the hearing and sight loss. #261288
