Different butterfly, different day...probably different mosquitoes, but they sure LOOKED the same!

This guy made nice, and landed on an outstretched lantana branch. Just add macro, and voilá! Instant BG.

Your images are excellent! I learned from your bio that you are a perfectionist. I think all real good photographers are. If you're like me, you are always looking for ways to improve.
I think this shot could be improved by cropping it as a horizontal. Eliminate a lot of the excess headroom and trim a bit off the bottom of the plant. Place the top edge of the wings along the upper thirds line and, as you say, Voila! Then we could all see this beauty a bit larger. #8413264
