Zambia Dancing
Uploaded: May 21, 2005
This shot was taken in Zambian village on the banks of Zambezi. We arrived there during a canoe trip which was a part of camping trip to Zimbabwe and Zambia. Local school put a little performance for us. Kids where dancing with such enthusiasm, that it looked like they were just looking for a chance to begin dancing.

Great capture. Love the expressions. #252063Michaelz May 22, 2005
Thanks for your comment, Roxanne. I have this shot framed 12x18 and cannot stop admiring these happy faces. The performance was near the school that does not even have electricity. We brought with us note books, pens and pencils to give out and that was a big thing for them. Some difference from our world of iPods and ...digital SLRs. #1379489Lori Carlson November 19, 2005
