Perfect Balance

Uploaded: September 26, 2009

Description

My favorite squirrels live near a cypress swamp, and you'll often find them perched precariously on the tops of cypress stumps. It's particularly amusing when it's windy, as they teeter back and forth, their tails twitching furiously as they attempt to keep their balance.

Sometimes, they topple off. Don't tell them, but when I see that happen, I snicker just a bit. :)

Thanks to each and every one of you for those super terrific comments!!

As much as I like the comments on the images, it makes me especially happy to see people enjoying my furry pals. They really are like kids to me!

Alas, a combination of stormy weather and blood-sucking varmints (mosquitoes) has kept me from getting my usual squirrel time today. :( #7985076
