Hi Barbara,
What a lovely flower shot. Looks like it was taken on a cloudy day perhaps? I think of you use PS and go under Image> Adjustments> Auto Levels...it will lighten it considerably without blowing out your whites. You could also try the Auto Contrast & Auto Color. It would do a lot for this photo with minimal time editing :) #1186429

I thought these flowers were so simply beautiful. I do not remember if it was a cloudy day, but I do think they may have been in the shade. I was with a friend and my sister and I almost passed them by. I'm glad I was able to get a few shots. I went back the next week and they were all gone! I don't even know what kind of flower it is.
I did not do any adjustments, wanted to see what others thought first. I use Lightroom and Elements. I will make some adjustments!

I agree with Susan on everything. Let us know when you redo it because once it's brighter (maybe add some color also) it will be a spectaular image. #8089350
