Mutant Teasel Head

Uploaded: September 24, 2009

Description

Usually it is the symmetry of teasel heads that draws my attention, but I especially liked the "mutant" look of this one. Photo taken in a field in the Clear Creek greenbelt in Wheat Ridge, CO.

I love this one, Cary. It has its own personality and though hunched and deformed, it is still awesomely beautaifuil. #7981788

Wonderful capture of this somewhat rebellious teasel, Cary. #7981838

Thank you, Tiia, Michelle, and Tess! I don't know why this guy grew like this, but the plant stalk had been broken in a bad hail storm a few months ago, and this may have been the result. Thanks again for your comments! #7983238
