The family

Uploaded: September 07, 2009

Description

This family of elk was captured in the RMNP!
The bull elk was teaching the younger bull a lesson. I got to see him chase the younger one out of the herd.

This is the last elk photo I will post for a while ;)
Taken with my 100-400mm L lens Handheld.

If you ever get the chance to visit Rocky Mountain Natl Park I highly recommend it!

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

Heading Up North next week for our Elk Festival in Atlanta, MI. If I'm lucky enough to see at least one Elk, he sure won't be in this kind of majestic scene. Gosh, Kim - how thrilling this photo is! #7955139
