Karolyn,
I noticed your work in the BW photography link featured in the most current Snap Shot. I took a peek at your gallery and see that all of your self portraits very creative and strong. They remind me of the well known photographer Cindy Sherman who rose to fame in fine art photography in the late 70's and 80's. She used only herself as model to explore roles of women. She set scenes for herself in costume to look like film stills or a moment in a woman's life. You should take a look at her work. http://www.masters-of-photography.com/S/sherman/sherman_7.html

Pam, thank you! I wasn't aware I had any photos featured in that gallery - I hadn't taken the time to look at that link, and now I see that I actually have two in there!

I'm not familiar with Cindy Sherman, but I am very intrigued and certainly plan to do some research - thank you so much for telling me about her! And thank you so much for saying that you love my work... It is such a wonderful compliment to hear, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. #7930375
