Alpine Tundra gathering
Uploaded: August 31, 2009
This is part of the herd of elk I saw while overlooking forest canyon.
They almost seemed to be sentries for the rest of the herd.
Taken with my 100-400mm L lens Handheld
I hope you have a marvelous Monday!

Kim- What a thrill this must have been to see all these elk. So majestic. Love the compositon of this one and the pov. It does look like they are standing guard, ready to warn the rest of the herd. A beautiful wildlife scene that is a wonderful addition to your other elk picture. Beautiful colors, pnaoramic view, wonderful lighting and clarity, sharp details.Ken Smith September 03, 2009
