This logging operation is a two man crew, father and son. They have been logging all their lives and the boy going full time at age 15.
The logging was to remove the hard-wood trees (Oak and Maple) for replacement with fir trees. #1170477

Ron, I hate to see the oaks and maples go too. They are a great support for all kinds of wildlife, where the firs are not. I guess as long as man wants a roof over his head they will keep planting firs.
