Description

For this assignment, I wanted to move out of the studio and into the world of location portraiture. I chose as my subject "The Skateboarder", with the goal of capturing images in natural light and with natural expressions that captured the differing 'looks' of kids who share an attitude and addiction to skateboarding. I captured the original in color and later converted it into B&W in order to emphasize the 'James Dean' style of independence and aloofness that characteriz
