Description

Canon 5D, EF 70-200mm f4L IS @70mm, ISO 100
f11, 1/250". This was taken early in the evening after a day of heavy wind and sporatic cloud clearings. I was fortunate to see it in ideal conditions after a return from Glacier Point. It was the first time in 30 years that I had been to the valley portion of the park. This is my favorite Nat. Park.

Wonderful compositon, Lynn. I like how you managed a whole row of pines framing the bottom, and you placed Half Dome in the perfect majestic third. The towering cloud is a big plus. #1167011

Aloha Lynn,
Thanks for your responses in the forum. It means a lot to me that you took the time.
This is a wonderful image! I spend a lot of time in Mariposa, and so far I'm intimidated to walk inthe footsteps of all the greats who have shot Yosemite.
Here you have a winner! #8843843
