Uploaded: August 04, 2009 08:32:48
This image is one of four for my story-telling series for certification. Getting those balloons up in the air and down again takes a team effort. Here is a "gripper" helping to bring down and deflate this balloon.

Wow, Marisol - I didn't realize that this one had got any comments until I entered it. I'm sorry I didn't respond. I like how it fills up the frame as well. My balloon shots are usually up in the air but I did see potential in this shot. What would I do without my balloons! Thanks again for taking time out to comment.Hi, Aimee. I was concerned about he glare on his forehead but decided to leave it alone. What do you think? #8123954

I think you made the right choice....removing it altogther would have looked strange and I see no way of toning it down without it looking messed with. :~) #8126683Jeff E Jensen December 15, 2009

Thank you all for your nice comments on this image. I was hoping it might break the "Finalist" barrier but I am happy with it the way it is. #8230520Nikki McDonald December 18, 2009
It's wonderfully composed and like everyone else, I love the full frame and the way the lines of the chute radiate out in all directions. Congratulations on the well-deserved finalist, Debbie #8231846Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
