Smalls Falls

Just south of the town of Rangeley are these beautiful falls with a 54-foot total drop. People ( not me) have jumped from the ledges into a very, very small pool below in one particular spot. Makes my stomach turn just to watch!

Thanks so much Jeff, Jessica, Becky, Jeana, Colette, and Nikki! Maine was nice although the weather was far from perfect. We were lucky to hit this place on a day that it was not rainy! #7793426MELODIE C. ROBERTS July 29, 2009
...and you said you didn't get any good shotsfrank w. degenhardt July 29, 2009
Laurie- The framing is exceptional and I love the vertical look of the falls. The water as it runs down over the rocks can almost be heard. Beautiful action of the water and I love the rock formations. The greenery of the vegetation gives it a wonderful color balance. It is really a beautiful place to see, even in a picture like this.Laurie Daily July 31, 2009
