Description

These Cowboys and Cowgirls were working this herd of Texas Longhorns through Fort Worth as part of a scheduled Cattle Drive. Image taken from above while standing on a Railroad Bridge at noon with the temperature near 100 degrees F.

Canon 70-200L IS at 150mm . ISO 200, 1/500th @ f7.1 (PSE7 + Topaz & Buzz)

Jeff- I think it is so cool that they still have cattle drives. Such a part of the old west. Braving that heat paid off for you and the angle of your shot really does so much for the picture. Its like they are coming up a hill. Love the cowboy and cowgirl outfits, the horses, and the cattle. Beautiful composition and depth. Love the colors.

There are times that filters really add to a shot and even turn them into "creations". This was one of them, Jeff. The Topaz is a great tool! Combined with your own terrific eye and creativeness with camera angles on this one, you have one great image on your hands.
