I don't want to hurt his feelings but that is one ugly spider. I think he's camera shy and is trying to get away. Laura, this is a superb macro, if not a little creepy. Nice flower by the way. #7691726

Laura E. Swan level-classic July 01, 2009

Good morning all! What FUN this thread has been. Thank you all for your wonderful and entertaining comments!

Yes, Sister Lorna...2 stories was no small thing from your Ghost building, (THAT GOT AN EFP I NOTICED!!!), but glad for the experience now!

Mr Tree...I am so glad you like your new little Spider. Her name is "Spida". I will have her shampooed and combed and sent right over to your gallery in a jiffy! She already requested a special image of yours to live in. :D

And to the rest of you, you don't need to be afraid. She is very sweet and quiet. Just like Mr. Tree's used to ... well lets not talk about that anymore. What's done is done.

It was a pleasure having you here. All of you. Honored that you like it!

Laura E. Swan level-classic August 09, 2009

Yes. I know JUST what you mean Chris! If a person wanted to torture me, spiders would be the route to go!

THAT'S WHY I CARRY A FROG WITH ME EVERYWHERE I GO!

HA!

Thanks for the visit! -Laura :)

(Isn't it past your bedtime?! you are plus 8 from me I think???) #7832960

Laura: I really like this image! I think it very challenging to capture the miniature world of spiders, insects and the like! I like how this guy is feeling his way while you take the photo! Nice work! And I think the guy above really has his groove on, so what's that say about me? Tom #7864986

Laura E. Swan level-classic August 18, 2009

Did you see the rest of th dancers up there Tom? They are just as bad...'er I mean GOOD! HA!

Thanks for the visit and nice comment on my little spider. I like how you explained his extended leg. "Feeling his way".

Have a great day! -Laura #7865550
