Romancing Dawn

Description

We decided to go out for a second morning. Woke up and headed out at 4:45 am to a location we had shot at prior for a senior shoot on the bluffs above the American River in Fair Oaks, CA. Completely different lighting than Saturday with less dramatic clouding (very cold). Started taking shots around 5:15 (my clock in my camera is off....I need to reset it) This was one of our favorites with the silhouetting of the two, the gesture of romance framed with the morning light coming from behind. This is right out of the camera, shot with a tripod. Only slight adjustments in Photoshop. Chose this vertical composition to possibly go out for print for a greeting card.

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 1.67, ExposureTime: 1/50 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 320, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 28.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D
