Description

With all these photos I was trying to capture the action, the expressions or "try", the eyes also speak to me and I wanted to capture that. I was aware of light and how it could help the photo. Where the horses crossed the creek, it was full of grass reeds, which took away from the photo yet were hard to avoid.
This is one of the 1st shots with the reeds in my view. I love the expressions and how hard they are racing.

Excellent motion shot. I love the splash of the water coming up around the two horses. It shows they were really running hard against each other. Fantastic work on this one, Debbie! #1183993

Thanks David, it was so fun and also very challenging. The creek is dry so I will re attempt this next year. I can't wait to see if I can improve on the shot.
