The title made me smile, Vicki, and you made excellent use of DOF here with the slight background blur giving us a sense of location but letting the figure of the man and his catch star. Nice lines from the pov, too, with the receding boardwalk and railings. #1131992Sherry McClead May 24, 2009
Nice capture Vicki... poor guy... he draged that poor fish all the way down the pier on its nose like that...Sherrybear #7552359

Doesn't matter, Sherry, nobody eats the nose anyway (well, at least I don't)! :-D Interesting, well composed photo with a drop-dead (so to speak) caption, Vicki! #7552881Donna La Mattino Pagakis May 24, 2009
Outstanding timing, a very cool capture. I wish I could catch a fish like that! #7552966Pat Gamwell May 24, 2009

Thanks for the visits and kind words, everyone. I grabbed a few shots of this guy holding and showing off his catch, along with some of him letting a little boy touch it, but when I saw him walking away dragging it, I knew that was THE shot. #7554968Karen Kessler May 25, 2009
Great shot & title! I really like reading all the comments, too! (I thought the same thing about the nose everyone else did!) #7556448Vicki L. Filippin May 25, 2009
Thanks for stopping by, Karen. Sure hope I can catch something that big one day! #7556456Graham Robards May 27, 2009
