Description

My children bought me a Nike Sports Band for Mother's Day last year. I love to walk and have for years. It is the coolest item.
The Nike+ SportBand records your distance, pace, time and calories burned while you run, and saves a week’s worth of workouts for your review. When you’re done, connect the removable Nike+ SportBand Link to your computer to go to nikeplus.com, where you can track your runs, set goals, challenge others, and much more. By the way, it’s also a watch.
On Saturday I hit 500 miles.
I choose Toronto as my screen name as I was born there.

I have enjoyed 8 challenges with two of my children and my daughter-in-law, Kelly. My children have said that I am very competitive. My first challenge I asked my son, Aaron, and his wife Kelly to spot me as they are younger and in much better shape. They said they would. In the end no spotting was needed and I have won all 8 challenges. Of course on their defense I have more free time on my hands. #1117217

A great big congratulations! My knees and hips complain too much if I try to run these days, so I settle for walking about 3 miles most mornings.
