Description

The sound was horrible, the cry of two wild lynx mating, and they called me in from about a half mile away. I watched for about an hour as these two lynx were going at it high up in a thick spruce tree. When I did get a glimpse of them, they appeared to be fighting actually. As soon as this one started to leave the tree, I positioned the camera perfectly to get this face shot as he froze for my lip squeaking distraction. Taken near Anchorage, Alaska 2009
