Description


A Ring-billed Gull captured in flight over a local lake. The sun was fairly bright and I was under-exposing by -2/3.
I tried "Center-weighted Average" metering mode on this one.

Aperture = f8.0
Shutter = 1/1250s
ISO = 100
Focal Length = 70mm
Exposure Bias = -2/3EV
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens

That's some fast shooting (1/1250) and a terrific capture, Ken! Another great shot of the wing span. I love how his head is turned as well! Awesome timing!
