That is my kind of country Laura, see what most don't see. My Dr told me that 95% of the people who travel will not get more than a 100 yards from their cars. We like getting away from it all. We have had folks say we were there but we didn't see that. I want to say, if you get your lazy south ends out of the car you might see something.#7286638

Wow! You guys have really been having a party here haven't you?!?!? And look at all of the BALLOONS! Thanks for bringing them Gord! (HA!)I enjoyed each and every comments here and have been to all of your galleries today to see what was new there, too!
Alberta is BIG for all the NATURE adventures...and as you can see, some of them are a real thrill! I also wondered if they understood how close they had gotten to the edge? THEY MUST HAVE???!!!
Note to Lynne: I ran a tour desk for 5 or 6 of my 8 years working for the Airlines in my youth. I guess it's just still in my blood to promote the things and places that I really like!
RON YOU ARE RIGHT! If we stay on our duffs, we don't really live life to it's fullest.
I do think we BP'ers are an adventurous bunch however! LOOK AT OUR IMAGES!!! :)
Thanks again all!

WOW, I am adding that sleigh ride to my list of todo items... but that is going to mean a snowsuit from the Eskimos = the warmest possible... I was also wondering just how close you are to the edge taking this one... AWESOME winner image... and a fav. 8o) #7313185Laura E. Swan July 18, 2009
Incredibly sorry for the VERY late thank yous to Brother Rolan and Mumj!Brolan, my brother was here for his first time at the time and he said a VERY similar thing you did! We were on the wrong side of the cliff for his liking!!! :)
* * *
Mumj- I hate to tell you this but those aren't sleighs! HA! You have lived in the tropics for too long!!! :) (Big smile here!) As far as the "edge", I was ON THE "LEDGE" HANGING OVER!!! But my secret was that there was a very strong railing there for me to be hanging over on. Do you know that picture of Janeen and I called "Soul Sisters" I took a long time ago? Big Gray Fuzzy Hat On? It was almost that same spot where this shot was taken from. Just a different direction.
Thanks again you guys and so sorry I didn't reply to these wonderful comments promptly!
