Grabbing Some Air.

Uploaded: March 23, 2005 13:47:54

Description

I used an aperature of F 9.5 and a shutter speed of 1/1000 to stop the motion and catch the shadow. I used my Canon 300 mm L Series for this photo.

This young snowboarder jumped off of a very steep hill and managed to grab some air on his way down to a safe landing.

The photo was taken on the north side of Thompson Pass which is about 27 miles outside of Valdez,AK.
