'Hugs' In The Morning
Uploaded: February 15, 2009
1/80, 5.6. 'Hugs' was outside resting on the chair in the late morning, watching our dogs play. He has been a loving part of our 'pack' since we adopted him as a kitten, 15 years ago.

Ann, Betsy and Dianna, thank you so much. I really appreciate your encouragement. As a relatively new member of BP, it helps to feel welcome. #7172380Christine Lobsinger February 20, 2009
I thought you meant... hugs from him to you in the morning... great name, and awesome shot!!! I love it...Mary A. Legler February 24, 2009
Walter and Christine, thank you! As for his name, it suits him perfectly and yes I was playing on his name in the title. He actually hugs, like a human. Its the strangest thing. If you sit anywhere near his level, he will come up from behind and put both paws around the back of your neck, and lay his head down on your back, hug, and purr. He is now 15 and has been doing this since since he was about 8 months. #7207450Christine Lobsinger February 24, 2009
AWWWW>>> LOVELY!!Mary A. Legler February 26, 2009
Hugs was part of a 6 week old litter that was found boxed up and thrown out on a country road. Some nice person saw the box and decided to open it up and found the litter. They all survived. The local animal shelter used my farm for their overload. I was foster mom. Hugs showed up with his siblings. He ended up staying with me when the others were eventually moved to the shelter. He was one of the stories with a happy ending. #7218430Christine Lobsinger February 26, 2009
